Think golf is boring? Then you haven’t been to Topgolf Dubai.
This cool sports and entertainment complex is located on the grounds of the Emirates Golf Club, near Dubai Marina. There are three floors of golf courses. The goal is to hit the huge holes on the course as many times as possible. The further you hit, the more points you earn.
The balls are equipped with microchips that allow the system to count the points, and the screen shows the ball’s trajectory and the points earned. Of course, I knew that golf wasn’t easy, but I was never attracted to the game. However, the format of the game at Topgolf Dubai gives you a different perspective and you really enjoy everything that is happening.
Let me remind you that we were there in July and the weather was very hot. Everything is well thought out and each court has air conditioning that works non-stop in the open air. Imagine how much electricity is used, but customer comfort is paramount.
Before the game, they give a briefing, so even beginners like me can understand what’s what. How to stand correctly, how to hit the ball correctly, and many other nuances. Obviously, we didn’t become golf experts, but the main goal was to have a great time, which we did. An hour and a half flew by unnoticed. So, if you want to surprise yourself and try something new, I recommend going there.
