In this post, I will tell you about how I went to a golf club with my friends. I don’t know about you, but I was always impressed when watching Hollywood films where rich people drive around in small electric cars with golf clubs on perfect lawns and play golf. In my mind, it all seemed VERY expensive.
When the huge Emirates Golf Club opened in Dubai, I decided to gather all my credit cards and close the gestalt.
And I finally discovered this unattainable world of sport for the rich.
By the way, the golf club turned out to be not a classic one: it is a super-modern interactive project with 96 training grounds. It has three floors and an area of 5,500 square metres.
Imagine, the balls have microchips built into them, thanks to which a computer system evaluates the player’s swing and counts the points. And when it gets dark outside, the course starts to light up.
I wanted to attach a video, but it didn’t work out — I posted it on Telegram (link below).
I was blown away by it all: it seemed like I was just playing golf, but it felt like I had been teleported 50 years into the future.
This pleasure costs 220 dirhams per hour for a course that can accommodate up to 6 people. Snacks and drinks are extra, of course. I was a little surprised that the prices here are the same as at a bowling alley in Krasnodar.
I really expected it to be much more expensive, so don’t get mad at me.
